Dr. Andra Burroughs graduated in 2007 from the University of Waterloo with a doctorate in optometry and an honours degree in science. Her extensive experience has included a position in a multi-disciplinary ophthalmological and optometric practice where she gained invaluable experience in diagnosing ocular diseases, retinopathy, and cataracts.

Dr. Burroughs practices full-scope optometry with a special interest in contact lenses, dry eyes and laser surgery co-management. She believes that patient education and disease prevention are vital to enhancing and maintaining vision health. By taking the time to get to know her patients, Dr. Burroughs can counsel them according to their unique health and vision requirements. She welcomes patients of all ages.

Dr. Stephanie Kong completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo and continued her studies at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA. She graduated in 2013 as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honours Society.

Dr. Kong’s externships include private practices in Toronto & Pennsylvania, a Health Center in Boston and a Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Vermont. This variety of clinical settings has allowed Dr. Kong to receive extensive training in primary care, contact lenses and the treatment of ocular diseases. She provides thorough and comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga and travelling.

Dr. Suzan Sarkies has been a practicing optometrist since 2010. She received her licence and qualifications from the University of Waterloo in 2009. Dr. Sarkies completed extensive training as an ophthalmic resident in a variety of medical and surgical ophthalmic centres and hospitals. Additional qualifications include an M.B.CH.B in 1991 and a D. OPTH from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Baghdad in 1999.

Dr. Sarkies is a full-scope optometrist with special interests in ocular disease management and co-management, the diagnosis and monitoring of cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy. She makes a point to listen to each patient’s concerns in an empathetic manner, addressing each concern from a place of understanding and compassion. She believes that patient education is a key factor in disease prevention. Dr. Sarkies is happy to communicate with her patients in English, Armenian and Arabic.

Dr. Eva Ho completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario in Biomedical sciences. She then graduated from the New England College of Optometry (NECO) in 2019 during which she received training at the South Boston Community Health center, Boston Medical Center and West Haven Veteran Affairs medical center with experience in ocular pathology, surgical co-management, low vision and blind rehabilitation.  Her professional interests include ocular disease, myopia control, and patient education. Her services include specialty contact lens fittings, dry eye treatment, vision therapy, children’s eye exams, and ocular disease management. Eye examinations with her are available in English and Cantonese.
